The Hunt is on...
Morte Mundo was once the brightest light in the night sky. It was the largest of the three moons looming over the Old Kingdom. The bright moon has been the subject of many myths and tales throughout history. It is a symbol of religion and a reminder of mortality, of fate, and of divinity. There are many interpretations of the stories circulating on the continent but most agree that this moon acted as another plane of existence all together. It is here one’s spirit travelled in dreams and where it passed through after life – a gate to the realms of death. It is here where an ancient God dwelled – a metaphysical being known as the Raven Queen: the Justiciar of Fate.
Two years ago – only days before the first of Death’s shadows fell onto the continent’s northern shores – Morte Mundo came plummeting down to the mortal world. The meteor is believed to have landed far to the north – in the forlorn World Beyond the Sea. This cosmic event is linked to the war. Death – once a realm separate from Life – has paradoxically manifested itself in a reality opposite its own. Its sudden and violent coexistence with the living has resulted in the cosmic unbalance present today.
Is this where Death’s forces come from? They seek White Rabbit – but why? What does she have to do with the fall of Morte Mundo? And what compels Death itself to pursue Rabbit to the edge of the world?
